The dogs below are NOT at the shelter, so please don’t call the shelter. Volunteers have no additional information. For more information, use the email contact provided in the dog’s description. Adoption fees and policies for these dogs are not the same as the shelter’s.
 

Chere

Meet Chere.   This little Beagle mis is 14 weeks old and a wee 7 pounds.  When Chere was found she had a slight limp.  X-rays showed she was born missing a bone in her leg.  Now that Chere has grown a bit, you cannot tell anything is wrong with her.  She runs and plays just like any other puppy.  Chere is crate trained and working on her house training.  Chere likes other dogs and is fine with children.  Due to her small size, we would prefer a home with children over 10 years of age.  Chere is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

JR

JR is a 10 month old, mixed breed dog, possibly a hound mix.  JR is medium sized weighing around 40 pounds.  JR is crate trained and house trained.  JR loves to go for walks and is good on a leash.  JR has been in a foster home with children, dogs, and cats and gets along well with all.  JR is current on vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped.

Jersey Girl

This s is a very special little dog.  Jersey-Girl was abandoned in a field with her 3 siblings, and because of her nurturing personality, she was the caretaker of all.   For a little Toy Fox Terrier mix, weighing only 9-10 pounds, this was quite a job.  After quite a while on their own, this little family was rescued and now it is Jersey-Girl's turn to be cared for and loved. She is affectionate, gentle, and after all that has happened to her - loves people.  She has a wonderful little spirit.  Jersey-Girl is as close to perfect as they come. I am looking for a special person for this very special dog......to meet her is to fall in love with her!  She is spayed and fully vetted.

Tia Maria

Tia- Maria's pictures cannot do her justice. She is just gorgeous with a soft, silky coat.  She is part of the "little family" that was abandoned in a field and left to perish.  Despite all that she has been through, she is a gentle little soul who just wants a soft touch and to be with people who will love her.  She is a petite 9-10 pounds and loves to lie under the shade of a tree with someone close.  She can be a little shy at first, but she does blossom when she feels safe.  Tia-Maria is a quiet little dog with excellent house manners.  She will make someone a lovely companion.  She is spayed, approximately 1-2 years and fully vetted.

Gino

Meet Gino.  The beautiful boy is 5 years old and weighs about 80 pounds.  Gino has medium energy and loves to play.  Gino is great with other dogs but likes to chase cats.  Gino is good on a leash and loves to ride in the car.  Gino is well behaved in the house and is crate trained as well as house trained.  Gino knows some basic commands but would love to learn more.  Gino is a “Velcro” boy who bonds to his family.  Gino is neutered, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped.
